Chairman's 25 Anniversary Message
From its establishment in April 1980, the College of Insurance & Professional Studies (CIPS) formerly the Insurance College of Jamaica has been a dedicated and persistent leader in the training and preparation of persons aspiring to careers in the insurance field. CIPS has established itself as one of Jamaica’s respected educational facilities for the insurance industry. The college has grown throughout the years but has maintained a firm adherence to the motto of knowledge, professionalism and integrity.
Annual Awards Function
The Annual Awards Function of the College of Insurance and Professional Studies, was held on Wednesday March 29, 2006 at the Knutsford Court Hotel.
Loss Reserving Seminar
The College of Insurance and Professional Studies in association with Pinnacle Actuarial Resources, Inc. will be conducting a two-day seminar on “Loss Reserving-Critical Issues in Today’s Property/Casualty Industry” on Thursday November 16, and Friday November 17, 2006 at a cost of US$350.00 per person.

As one of the leaders in courses in the financial services industry, the College of Insurance and Professional Studies continually strives to offer the best in management education. CIPS recently began a pilot of online courses in the “Essentials Leader Series” of online eLearning courses from Harvard Business School Publishing.
