CERTIFIED INSURANCE TECHNICIAN
The Certified Insurance Technician is a one-year part-time programme (CIT) designed specifically for persons with a desire to advance to the Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII). Candidates will receive credits from the CIT courses to participate in the ACII programme.
The courses will incorporate lectures and foster interaction between students and experts in the different fields. The course also provides insurance personnel with skills critical to the leadership and management of the insurance industry. This diploma programme consists of six (6) courses (Learn more about each course under the ‘CURRICULUM’ section below):

2. Personal Insurance
3. Risk & Insurance
4. Business Environment
5. Marketing
6. Principles & Practices of Reinsurance
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
OPTION A
To enter the Certified Insurance Technician, candidates must satisfy the following requirements:
HIGH SCHOOL LEAVERS – Four (4) CXC, GCE or CSEC passes (including Mathematics and English Language or a Mathematical subject)
CHANGE OF CAREER & JOB EXPERIENCE – Twenty-five (25) yeas of age have passes in Mathematics and English Language or a Mathematical subject
